Christoforos Chatzopoulos is CEO of NBG Pay and Country Head of Global Payments in Greece. He has an extensive leadership track record in the banking and electronic payments sectors, having previously held senior positions at leading systemic banks in Greece.
In his role at NBG Pay — the joint venture between Global Payments and the National Bank of Greece — he leads the company’s strategic and technological development, with a particular focus on payment acceptance solutions and POS terminal services. His areas of expertise include business digital transformation, FinTech, payment technologies, and the development of strategic partnerships.
