Mr. Angelos Karakerezis currently holds the position of Deputy General Manager of EFG Eurobank Ergasias. He also serves as Head of Alternative and External Channels in Retail Banking. He has an international caliber holding executive positions in Europe, UK and USA. His expertise focus on AI, Intelligent Robotics, Consumer Lending, Mortgage Lending, Small Business Banking, Credit Underwriting, Digital Channels, Contact Centers, video Banking, Retail Banking Ecosystems and Self Service Terminals.

He holds a Ph.D. Degree in AI/Robotics from the University of Bristol, an MSc/DIC Degree in Industrial Robotics from the Imperial College, and a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has participated as a member of BoD in an number of Enterprises. He has also attended a number of executive courses specialized in Management and Leadership at the Harvard Business School and INSEAD Business School, respectively. Finally, he is author of various journal and conference papers.
