Michel Leger

Michel Léger is a worldwide expert in the payment industry, a senior advisor to numerous companies involved in Payment (payment schemes, private equity funds, consulting firms) and a certified non-executive board director. He leverages a strong worldwide expertise in payment to provide strategic leadership and vision to stimulate growth through Innovation in the domains of security, mobility and added value solutions.

In his 40 years career in the payment industry, Léger has held varied international R&D, marketing, sales, operations, business development and general management positions around the world including France, USA, England and Canada.

In the last 20 years Léger has played a significant role to shape the payment industry and drive innovation and strategy as a key member of the executive committees of Ingenico, Worldline and Gemalto.

Leger holds a master degree from the National Institute of Applied Science in France with major in Telecommunication and is a certified non-executive board director from Sciences Po/IFA and the European Confederation of Directors Association.
